First I would Like to thank you for coming to this page. I am Dalton the Gretschkat and I want to tell you an important experience from my life story. The Bluenotecats were going pretty good and playing many shows. Djordje had migrated up to touring with Fishtank and Elan Tribo stepped in on Slap Bass. So Greg and I the remain of the trio continued on working the Rockabilly Band with Elan. Whom by the way did a good job. From 2008 to 2011 I myself was alright but then I found myself as each day was passing getting tired and more tired physically. I went to my Practitioner at the time and eventually was seen by a Physician MD Of Gastroenterology. After investigation and a Endoscopy I was diagnosed with Barrett's Esophageal Complex and Cancer. I was rated at 4.2% and they stopped treatment at 5.0%. The doctor said that I had 30 to 60 days of life for esophageal cancer spreads quickly. I had come under a physical illness that was working inside my body. A phantom killer.
I was devastated. Eventually I went on hiatus. My car broke down as I was facing medical costs that in a short time I could not pay for and went into debt. I had fallen behind in my rent, food, bills, etc. For cancer can wipe you out financially and as well kill you. And it was a question of medicine or rent? I spent my days walking and listening to Led Zeppelin "In The Time Of My Dying". The county I live in their Health & Human Services Department handed my case over to Social Security and Medicare rated myself with a catastrophic designation. I was there by myself in a moment in my life that was challenging my experience and spirituality. I was going to die.
I went from having a music act that was well on its way to better venue's and had already gained notoriety in my regional area. At times we had great fan-fare and standing room only performances. The Bluenotecats were always booked without question and delivered entertaining shows that brought even more notability. And now here in my time I was dying. And I could feel it. It was like I was carrying a weight in my heart. I could not lift my feet from the ground. I was tried all the time. Really, I had the first experience of what was happening when I could not even pack up my equipment after shows. It is a disease in my body that was affecting my ability to function on a daily basis.
I went back to the MD that diagnosed me. I asked him what do I do with my time? I do not know what to do? He replied, I can't answer that for you. But Dalton live you life with humor and comedy. With that thought and knowing that God was counting my days, I proceeded to finish the recordings that Greg, Djordje and I had recorded. Then on day fifty eight I was still breathing and still going. The MD called me and said he had attended a medical convention and saw the new treatment that was being used for people like myself whom had Gastral cancer illnesses.
So I was referred to California Pacific Medical Center Sutter Hospital in San Franciso California to the Endoscopy Rescue Unit under the direction of Dr. Binmoeller. That is why I am still here today playing guitar, recording and working to take the stage again. For they saved my life. Endoscopy surgery works operating from the inside out with tools that are designed and created by the surgeons whom are the leaders in this method of treatment for temporary and continuing gastric illnesses. Using today's micro technology the surgery's produce a better out come for patients such as I with fighting cancerous and precancerous conditions. As well Endoscopy and Gastroenterology expands to other needed services for internal surgeries. I am fortunate to be standing on my own to feet today for the Surgeons of this group in Northern California San Francisco are leading with other to continue to develop and resource new tools and micro technology to help in the recreating surgery as we have known it to be. I ask you for your help. I ask you to donate to the Endovision Foundation and that contribution will assist in the battle against cancer and other illnesses that can be stopped by Endoscopy Surgeries.
Here at Gretschkatmusic I have two music publications Rockabilly Rock N' Roll and Gone To TwangCity Bonafide the Trio Version Hearnow Links. Any purchase of one or both albums I will donate 40% each to Endovision. With Gone To TwangCity Bonafide the Trio Version you can donate directly. Or the Endovision Foundation link at the end of this page. Please I ask for your support.

I am fortunate that I have been able to find treatment for my condition which is helping me to return to what I have a passion for and love and that is Music. Though I have to say since I started the journey of treatment by endoscopy for cancer and other conditions, two of my musician friends have passed as a result of not being knowledgeable and aware of this new medical practice and treatment.
With Dr. Binmoeller's Endovision Medical Science he creates each and every tool for the advancement of Endoscopy Surgery. With many other Surgeons joining the new method.
The CPMC Sutter Unit now has four very skilled Endoscopy Surgeons for whom I have been treated by. Their equipment is ground breaking and each unit has staff that fields skilled practitioners in the method of this new surgical practice. What can we do? We can do our best to offer donations that will enable these doctors to continue to evolve new tools and new forms of Endoscopic surgery.
There are many out there in our modern society for which this vision and modality will benefit generations to come. I ask, if you can and are willing donate to the Endovision Non-Profit for it will help the many to live and survive cancer of this nature.
